A consistent top producer in the Lake Norman market, broker associate Marzia Mazzotti is a Waterfront Property Specialist who herself lives the lake lifestyle and calls Cornelius home. Her familiarity with the area and passion for the beautiful community is one that Marzia is eager to share with her customers.
Born in Switzerland and raised in Italy, Marzia was a sales export manager for a woodworking machine manufacturer in Italy, overseeing accounts in Europe, Asia, South Africa and the United States. While attending a trade show in New York City in 2000, Marzia met her now-husband and, following a whirlwind courtship, relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, to be with him. Five years later, her husband’s job brought them to Charlotte. While driving around the area one day, Marzia stumbled upon the amazing Lake Norman, which immediately reminded her of the sea back home. Deciding that Lake Norman and the surrounding beautiful homes was where she was meant to be, Marzia became a licensed real estate professional and hasn’t looked back.
Because she grew up in a different country, Marzia takes a different approach to conducting business. She loves to think outside of the box and is very creative, while her international sales experience has aided her in developing a unique approach to marketing homes. Even when at her busiest, Marzia works hard to ensure that each of her customers feel that they are her priority. By surrounding herself with a talented team of associates, she always puts the needs and interests of her customers first. With her warm personality, strong work ethic and long experience in the field, Marzia serves her customers with knowledge and a passion that makes the process seamless and enjoyable.
Marzia is a Certified Relocation Professional and a member of the Charlotte Regional REALTOR® Association. Italian is her native language, but she is fluent in Spanish and German as well, making her an excellent choice in assisting those customers considering international relocation to the Lake Norman area.
Outside of the office, Marzia is a wakeboarder and a wakesurfer. During the warm season, she and her family enjoy going out on their boat almost every day, riding and cruising to places like the Peninsula Yacht Club, Port City Club or Hello Sailor. A community volunteer, Marzia helps with the annual Wakesgiving food drive for Angels and Sparrows Soup Kitchen, and participates in the Wake N Flake wakeboard and snowboard fundraiser to benefit Wake The World, which provides watersports opportunities for underprivileged children, the handicapped, and wounded veterans. She is also an advocate for Challenge Enterprises of North Florida, an non-profit that provides services and employment opportunities for the disabled, and donates a portion of her commissions to the organization.
But perhaps Marzia’s greatest accomplishment of all is her two wonderful children: Stefania, a track & field athlete and Junior at Pine Lake Prep, and Christopher (Kiko), a Junior at Duke University on the pre-health track.
